*As an easily influenced child
There are stories all around us. Already intrigued with the idea of blending reality since I was young. (I believe the term 'big imagination' was used for my little fantasy escapades) For me, the best stories come when you are not looking and hide when you search to much. The 2pm 'HOLD YOUR HORSES. I HAVE AN IDEA' texts. Those little moments, they are one of my favorites.

Driven by a fascination of narratives and how they can become visual and tangible, I moved to the UK to persue my career in set design, studying Design for Film and Television at Nottingham Trent University and graduated in 2019. Here, I learned the magic of set design, concept art, prop design, set dressing & technical drawing. For me, the magic of moving pictures is one of the forms where these fantasies become reality. After a year of freelance art department and design work in the UK, I moved back to the Netherlands and since then, build my career as a concept and set designer for festivals, events & brands, bringing along my knowledge and background of creating (visual) narratives to transform them into actual experiences. With that, translating it into a visual picture through 2D and 3D design. This is what drives me forward in my way of working. Working closely with the clients and finding a way to draw what they are looking for into a new idea, strategy and design.
But. Enough about me. I am curious. Who are you? And how can we help each other? I'm keen to get to know you more, so feel free to pop me a message at eva@evalouise.studio!
